Privacy policy
Last updated 16 October 2026
- Adacus AI reads the Google Ads account you connect and writes only the changes you approve.
- It stores that account data in its own database, for as long as the account stays connected.
- It shares data with Google, its hosting provider and the AI providers that produce its analyses, and with no one else.
- It never sells data and never uses it for advertising of its own.
Who we are
Adacus AI (adacusai.com) is a tool that manages Google Ads accounts on behalf of their owners. Contact: hello@adacusai.com.
What we collect
- Google Ads account data, read through the Google Ads API with the account owner's authorization: campaign, ad group, keyword, ad and asset settings; performance metrics (impressions, clicks, cost, conversions and conversion value) by day, hour, device, location and audience; the search terms that triggered ads; negative keywords; ad schedules; and the account's change history.
- Sign-in identity: the email address Google returns when a user signs in, used only to check the allow list and label that user's decisions.
- Decisions and actions taken inside Adacus AI: what was proposed, who approved or declined it, and what was pushed to Google Ads.
- Customer lists, only if the account owner chooses to use Google Ads Customer Match through Adacus AI. Identifiers are hashed with SHA-256 before they are sent to Google, and Adacus AI keeps only what it needs to work out which entries to add or remove next time.
Adacus AI does not collect data about people who see or click the ads, beyond the aggregate metrics Google reports.
Why we use it
- To analyse the account's performance and propose changes.
- To write changes to Google Ads after a person has approved them.
- To keep a record of what was proposed, decided and done.
- To identify users and keep the dashboard restricted to the allow list.
Google user data and the Limited Use requirements
Adacus AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide and improve the features described on this page. It is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not shared with third parties except as described below. People are not allowed to read it except with the account owner's consent, for security purposes, to comply with law, or as part of Adacus AI's internal operations when the data has been aggregated and anonymised.
Who else sees it
| Recipient | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account data, approved changes, sign-in identity | Adacus AI reads from and writes to Google Ads and uses Google sign-in. | |
| Railway (railway.com, United States) | Everything Adacus AI stores | Hosting for the application and its database. |
| Anthropic and OpenAI | Campaign and keyword settings, performance metrics, search terms | Producing the analyses. Never sign-in identities, customer lists or data about individual people. Their API terms do not allow training on this data. |
No one else receives the data. Adacus AI does not sell it and does not use it for its own advertising.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept for as long as the account is connected, so that its history can be read back and compared. Sign-in sessions expire seven days after sign-in. When an account is disconnected, its data is deleted on request to the contact address above.
Security
Access to the dashboard requires Google sign-in and an entry on the allow list. Data is encrypted in transit. API credentials are stored only in the hosting platform's secret store. Adacus AI runs in its own isolated environment with no shared access to other systems.
Your choices
An account owner can revoke Adacus AI's access at any time from their Google account permissions, and can ask for their data to be exported or deleted by writing to hello@adacusai.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and connected account owners are told before the change takes effect.
